Do I need planning permission?
Typically no. Outbuildings are generally permitted development if they meed specific criteria such as height, size and location restrictions. At a usual height of 2.45m our garden rooms typically fall within these guidance, meaning that they do not require planning permission. We will advise you fully at the initial stages.
Can I have electricity in my garden room?
Yes. Your garden room can have electricity and we can arrange for this to be installed in compliance with Part P of the Building Regulations as part of the installation of your room.
Can I have plumbing in my garden room?
Yes, however, installing plumbing within your garden room will mean that you will require planning permission. If you wish to have plumbing within your garden room we can help with applying for the relevant permissions.
